THE CENTURION PRINCIPLE

A centurion was a Roman military captain who had a hundred soldiers in his command. The New Centurion Principle is the concept that one person can become a hundred.

One person who has faith can pray and ask God to bring 100 more like him into the kingdom of God. He can ask for ‘a hundredfold fruitfulness’, so that his time on the earth will not be wasted.

In the parable of the sower, Jesus said: "The ONE who received seed in the good ground, is the one who receives the Seed of God’s Word, and understands it and brings forth fruit! Some will bring forth thirty and some sixty and some a hundredfold!

Wherever faith is found, there will be action. God always responds to faith. God goes into action when someone truly believes, and when God goes into action things begin to happen.

The one who believes and lays down his life for the sake of Jesus and the Gospel will find new Life in Christ. But, the one who does not believe shall be condemned.

Someone who receives my words will believe that they can be responsible for good things happening in the lives of at least a hundred other people. They will believe and ask. They will believe and keep on asking. They will believe whether they see it happening or not.

Jesus said: "Blessed are those who believe and have not seen!" A widow woman can become a pastor over 100 new converts. She may never see them come to Jesus. She may never see which church they go to. She may never know their name. But…she believes and she will keep praying for HER HUNDRED!

By grace those hundred will be saved, through faith, and even that faith is not of themselves, but it is a gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. That faith will be a gift of God, given to them because of one widow woman’s prayers. Her love and compassion for a certain segment of humanity will activate her faith in God and her prayers will activate the mighty power of God!

She will keep praying for "HER HUNDRED" until she dies or until Jesus comes. Many miracles will take place in those hundred people and in their families. Testimonies will be created day after day in all of those lives.

Supernatural provision will take place. Healings will be secured from heaven. Protection and guidance shall be given. Mercy and grace will flow to those hundred people over and over again. The forgiveness of God will be granted them when they sin. The Holy Spirit will produce His fruit in their lives. Angels will minister to them, and all because one lady believes and prays.

She may go through all kinds of testings and trials during this time. She may be buffeted by winds of adversity herself. She may be tempted to doubt or give up. She may endure rejections, loneliness, hurt or betrayal. But, none of that will matter, because she is laying down her life so that a hundred more may tap into the fullness of God’s miracle working provision.

They are coming into the Kingdom – one by one – two by two. They will eventually stream into the kingdom, bringing others with them. They will be called, trained and equipped. They will be thrust forth into the harvest fields of the world, bringing forth their own fruitfulness in many places.

That widow woman is not going to be unfruitful in the kingdom of God. When she gets to heaven, a crowd of redeemed people will swarm around her. They will be thanking her for her part in getting them and their children delivered from the powers of darkness. They will rejoice with her as Jesus says: "Well done, thou good and faithful servant!"

That widow woman may be blind in one eye and stooped over so bad that you can’t even see her face. Her face may be wrinkled and her body may be worn out. She may have aches and pains that make her life miserable. But, she is going to pray and ask.

The Word says: "You have not because you ask not!" But, Jesus will never be able to say that to her, because she is going to ask and ask and ask and ask and keep on asking.

She is going to ask for every good thing she can think of for her hundred converts – for the hundred members of her church. And she is going to get what she asks for – because she believes.

And all of this is going to take place – after everyone thought she was a wash-up – after the strength of her life had ebbed away – after her youth and vitality were gone! At a time in her life when others thought, ‘what good can she do anymore’ she will just be starting her ministry to her flock of ONE HUNDRED!

But, that’s not all. Her hundred sheep are going to produce lambs and lambs and more lambs. Of the increase of her fruitfulness, there shall be no end. All because she believed!

If God can do that through a seemingly helpless, washed-up, old lady --- what can He do in answer to your prayers?Someone once said: "If you are dissatisfied with your lot in life, build a service station on it!"

If you are disappointed with some aspect of your life, turn it around and use it as a springboard of prayer for a hundred other people who face similar circumstances.

If your daughter is on drugs, begin asking God to save and deliver a hundred girls from drugs and all the side effects of that kind of living. If your son is in jail, begin asking God to save 100 prisoners – and ask Him to use those inmates to reach another hundred and another hundred and another hundred.

If you were sexually molested as a child, ask God to go out and deliver a hundred other kids from that possibility. Ask Him to save the ones who would have become responsible for those kinds of scars in many innocent lives. Ask God to drive the demon powers away from those people and to give them a new heart and a new mind. Ask God to use those ‘redeemed’ hundred to do many good things in the earth – to make up for the bad that was done to you.

It’s okay to ask for revenge. If there is anything in life that has damaged your soul, ask God to forgive the people who were responsible and then deliver a hundred such people from the devil’s grasp. Ask God to redeem a hundred people from the powers of darkness because of the evil that they spawned against your soul.

After all, it is the evil and invisible powers who make people do such things. Our revenge should not be against those whom the devil used, but against the kingdom of wickedness itself. But, we don’t fight hate with hate or violence with violence. The principle of God is: "Overcome evil with good!"

The greatest revenge in the world is to ask God to create a mountain of good in the earth, because of the bad that was placed upon your life. Keep asking God to create that mountain of good – so that the mountain of the Lord will fill all the earth. Keep asking for more good until the earth is filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. Make sure that there will be no room for evil in the earth. Ask for the Kingdom of Good to be established forever, so that no one will ever have to go through what you have gone through.

If that seems far fetched and you can’t see that far into the future, then at least pray for YOUR HUNDRED! Ask God to clean up the world, by saving those hundred and purifying their lives. Ask God to heal the hurts of a hundred more like you. Ask God to give you at least one little corner of the world as your reward and compensation for having suffered in the earth.

Those hundred are your church. Do you want them to be a weak and faltering church or do you want them to be a victorious, conquering, and overcoming church?

If you want the best for them, then increase the depth and the intensity of your prayers. Don’t cast away your confidence when the devil comes to put doubt in your mind.

Hang on to the faith that we can have whatsoever we say and believe that God will do whatever we ask of Him.

Keep on believing that He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or even think of asking for.

Believe that there is nothing too difficult for God. Believe that ‘With God all things are possible. Believe that, "All things are possible to those who believe." And simply believe and keep on believing!

Take every negative thing that happens in your life and create a reaction of prayer and faith out of that circumstance. Thank God for the evil which comes your way and then ask God to pour a ‘mountain of good’ into your CHURCH OF A HUNDRED!

Tell the devil that for every bad thing that happens in your life, God is going to bless you and multiply the good back into "your hundred" forever and ever! Tell him that "No weapon formed against you will prosper!" Tell him that you are ‘more than a conqueror through Him who loved you and gave Himself for you’. You are not only going to conquer the bad that the devil brings into your life, but you are going to go on to secure good things for a hundred other people. A hundred families are going to be blessed because of you. Those hundred families are going to be a blessing to another hundred and in hundreds of ways!

You are on your way! God has given you the Centurion Principle! You can accomplish more during the remaining years of your life than someone else could accomplish in a hundred years.

This is your chance-

your choice-

your opportunity!

Don’t throw it away!

Don’t despise the power you can unleash in the earth just by using a simple formula

mixing love and faith together

in a habit of asking prayer!
